Why Mint?

Minters are incentivised to create cAssets and keep digital assets locked to secure the system by receiving pro-rata rights to trading fees generated by a particular market. Fees are generated when assets change hands from one peer to another. Every trade sends a small fee to a pool that is redeemable by individuals or institutions that have minted positions that are currently available to be traded. These fees will be redeemable every week. The fee amount will be between 10 and 100 bps, and typically will be approximately 30 bps. The fee amount will always be visible to a trader that is buying or selling a cAsset.
Minters are also incentivized to engage with the protocol and keep capital locked in by receiving additional rewards as $CYPH tokens which are derived from the protocol’s inflationary policy.
